The Energy Localization Forum witnessed today 107 strategic agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at reinforcing the Kingdom's global leadership in the energy sector, signed with 117 entities from the public and private sectors, with a total value estimated at SAR 104 billion, according to Saudi Press Agency.
The two-day event, which was inaugurated today, is hosted by the Ministry of Energy, in strategic partnership with Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity and SABIC.
The forum comes within the efforts aimed at reaching 75% localization in the energy sector, within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. It also discusses the importance of localizing the energy sector in building a sustainable future for future generations, stimulating national economic growth, and luring local and international investment.
