In line with its commitment to reinforcing the UAE’s retail infrastructure, ENOC Group today announced the opening of two new service stations in International City. With these additions, the total number of service stations in Dubai now stands at 131 and 176 across the UAE.
Launched in a grand opening ceremony attended by ENOC officials, the first station is strategically located in International City Phase 2, while the second station is set at the busy International Pavilion area.
Both stations aim to cater to the fuelling needs of the residential community as well as neighbouring communities of Al Warsan, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Al Warqaa and Academic City.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at ENOC, said: “Our retail expansion plans are a part of ENOC’s overarching strategy to cater to the growing demand for fuel across the UAE. Our teams are working together identifying key locations that present an opportunity to build service stations to meet the community’s demand for fuel while offering easy and convenient access to automotive and other consumer services.”
The service station in International City Pavilion area spans around 15,000 sq. ft. featuring a bridged canopy with two dispenser islands and four dispensers. It is equipped with four double wall fuel tanks with a capacity of 15,000 imperial gallons, a green room for vapour recovery to reduce emissions during fuel storage and refuelling vehicles as well as zoom convenience store that offers a wide variety of confectionary, snacks and a range of hot and cold beverages prepared on-site.
The Warsan service station is spread across 32,000 sq. ft. and comprises of a bridged canopy with four dispenser islands and eight dispensers, six double wall fuel tanks with a capacity of 12,000 imperial gallons and a vapour recovery enclosure. The service station features the home-grown C-store ZOOM as well as a drive through restaurant.
In line with global best practice for the retail fuel industry, both service stations feature full retail automation and modern construction standards and are equipped with CCTV surveillance and automatic number plate detection cameras to ensure the highest levels of security.
