Ericsson holds its first Cloud and IP summit in Egypt
Ericsson showcases its Cloud and IP solutions at the first Cloud and IP Summit in Egypt through expert meetings and demonstrations aimed at Ericsson’s customers in Egypt. The event is held from April 20-23 at the JW Marriot Hotel and Smart Village.
The event aims to establish Ericsson’s innovative solutions in the market and help Egypt’s operators improve their productivity and connectivity through the Networked Society, and to increase profit margins by enhancing their business models and customer services.
Various products and services were showcased during the event including: revenue growth opportunities leveraged through Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and the Internet of Things (IoT), Hybrid Cloud Services for Enterprise, and Transport Network Evolution for future growth.
The meetings included fixed line operator, Telecom Egypt, and mobile operators Etisalat, Mobinil, and Vodafone Egypt.
Each days’ events are preceded with presentations of the Cloud and IP story from Ericsson executive managers, Ann Emilson, Head of Business Management and Sales Support, Business Unit Cloud and IP, and Daniel Ehrenstråhle, Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management, Business Unit Cloud and IP.
In addition, the executive management exhibited Ericsson’s WiFi capabilities during presentations at the event.

We aim to offer the best end-to-end solutions to our customers by addressing the key challenges in the region related to quality, cost, speed of deployment, and flexibility.” The next Ericsson Cloud and IP Summit stops will be Poland in May and the UK in June, 2015.
