The Arab Bank was named Best Bank in the Middle East 2019 by the London-based Euromoney Magazine, according to a press release issued by the bank on Saturday.
The bank said it had also received the awards of the best bank in Jordan 2019 and the best bank in Palestine 2019 from Euromoney.
The Bank's selection is based on several international banking standards and a comprehensive study covering the strength of the bank's financial performance based on key performance indicators, as well as its business model, reliance on key institutional strengths and ability to adapt to market developments and regulatory conditions.
Arab Bank's Chief Executive Officer, Nima Sabbagh, said: "The Bank's achievement is a culmination of outstanding corporate performance and results across the Middle East. The Bank continues to provide integrated banking solutions to its customers from various sectors locally and regionally."
