Every military direct job adds 5 others: SAMI

Walid Abukhaled, CEO of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), said every direct job in the Saudi military industries sector contributes to adding five indirect others supporting the economy, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

He added that the entry of new companies into the industry contributes to enhancing investments in other economic sectors, such as supply chains, logistics, and commodity producers, in addition to supporting small, emerging, and medium-sized enterprises.

Abukhaled highlighted the sector growth, especially amid the entry of investors into vital and major areas, indicating that the success of this sector allows the country to enjoy great independence in the military industries.
