As EXPO Milano 2015 prepares to open its doors to an expected 20 million visitors, Oman Air has been named as the event’s Preferred Authorised Reseller for the Sultanate of Oman.

The Omani national airline offers tickets for sale and details of how they can be purchased has been published.
EXPO Milano 2015 takes place between 1st May and 31st October 2015 and will follow the theme of ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’. This unique and extraordinary EVENT will last for six months and is dedicated to the challenges of nutrition and sustainable development. It will provide a neutral global platform upon which all stakeholders can gather to share common goals and combine the best ideas and contributions to create a useful legacy for the future. It will also provide a showcase for innovation and inspiration, as well as opportunities to network and to share experiences and best practice on sustainability and nutrition.

Around 148 countries, including the Sultanate of Oman, will take part and, in addition to the 20 million anticipated visitors, one billion people are expected to attend online.

As a Preferred Authorised Reseller, Oman Air will sell tickets for EXPO Milano 2015 to tour operators, travel agents, government offices, companies, schools, colleges and individual travellers.

Furthermore, Oman Air’s five-year experience of non-stop flying from Muscat to Milan will offer visitors the ideal way of travelling to the event. From 1st January 2015, the airline increased the number of flights it offers between the two cities from four per week to daily. In addition, Oman Air Holidays will soon be releasing details of attractive packages which include flights, accommodation and event tickets. These will be offered throughout the duration of the EXPO, from 1st May to 31st October 2015.

Announcing Oman Air’s appointment by EXPO Milano 2015, the airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Paul Gregorowitsch, said:

Economy Class flights from Muscat to Milan are currently available from OMR 286 per person. Business Class flights are currently available from OMR 914 per person. Prices quoted include all taxes and charges, and are subject to availability.
