The Future Aviation Forum (FAF 2024) witnessed the announcement of 47 agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth $19 billion on the first day of the forum.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the agreements cover national air service, aircraft orders, cargo and logistics, advanced air mobility, human capability, information technology, maintenance, repair and overhaul.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) signed air service agreements with Mozambique, the Kingdom of Eswatini, Cambodia and Brunei Darussalam.
Moreover, Saudia signed a deal with Airbus to purchase 105 A320-Neo and A321-Neo aircraft, with the aim of expanding and modernizing its fleet and enhancing air connectivity with countries worldwide.
