G20 Sherpas and Finance Deputies Hold Virtual Meeting

The G20 Sherpas and finance deputies met virtually chaired by Fahad Al-Mubarak, the G20 Saudi Sherpa and Abdulaziz Alrasheed, the Assistant Minister of Finance. In addition, G20 Finance Ministers will meet on Friday November 20, 2020 to prepare for the upcoming Riyadh G20 Leaders’ Summit on November 21-22, 2020.
This Finance Ministers’ meeting will be chaired by Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance, and will discuss the global economic outlook, its downside risks and possible policy responses to safeguard against these risks. The meeting will also focus on the way forward to continue supporting global economic recovery, mainly through the collective work to implement the G20 Action Plan – Supporting the Global Economy through the COVID-19 Pandemic.
