Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, said that the global demand for mining resources will double in the future.
“We will need trillions of dollars in the next two decades to reshape the global supply chain in the mineral sector,” Al-Falih added during the International Mining Conference held today, Jan. 10, in Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia will spearhead this move and will take the lead, facilitating connections among countries grappling with diverse challenges, be they financial or logistical.
With the ability to harness and explore its resources, Saudi Arabia can substantially increase exploration operations, the top official emphasized.
