Health ministry says no private medical insurance for pilgrims currently

The Ministry of Health said the Saudi government guaranteed to provide general insurance to ensure the safety of pilgrims during their performance of Hajj, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

It added that the private medical insurance has not been added to the Ministry of Haj and Umrah's requirements so far.

The ministry indicated that it is constantly working to evaluate needs and update requirements to ensure providing the highest levels of health care and safety for pilgrims.
