Under the slogan of " Light up your heart ", Huawei launched its Ramadan campaign to support and encourage charitable work during the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign aims to interact with the community and families and share the beautiful moments of the month through competitions organized by the company on social media networking platforms throughout the holy month of Ramadan with valuable awards from Huawei to the winners.
As part of "Light up your heart" campaign, Huawei has unfolded its plan for Ramadan Food Distribution Program, organized and launched by King Saud University’s Social Responsibility club. The program aims to distribute Iftar meals to those who are in need, on the streets and traffic signals and some Ramadan tents. The Ramadan campaign will also support families in need, providing them with Ramadan meals in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province where around 100 volunteers. In parallel, the company also launched a similar campaign in some of the mobile markets in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province, where a number of employees of the company to prepare meals and then to be distributed before breakfast to help the fasting person to catch up with breakfast on time.
Huawei announced earlier that supporting this campaign, comes as a way to support values of cooperation, giving and humanitarian work during the Holy month and urge people to participate and give generously during Ramadan, as well as contribute to spread the great values of Ramadan. Huawei KSA stresses that these initiatives and campaigns are one of its key priorities and this is reflected through its participation and adoption of active programs that fall within the framework of social responsibility.
