Huawei’s Top 5 Apps of the Week Shows Strength of HUAWEI AppGallery

Huawei is showcasing the top apps in Saudi Arabia available through the Huawei AppGallery, to help HUAWEI mobile device users to find the best apps for many different uses.

 

 

 

Each week Huawei will be highlighting five apps from different categories that show the range and variety of apps that are available through the HUAWEI AppGallery.

 

 

 

The app series will also demonstrate how developers are creating apps which utilize the advanced hardware and software capabilities of the Huawei device ecosystem, to deliver experiences that are unique to the Huawei platform.

 

 

 

The HUAWEI AppGallery is the official app distribution platform for Huawei mobile devices, which was launched worldwide in 2018. The AppGallery offers users a huge range of apps that are optimized to give the best experience on Huawei devices, while ensuring that apps have the highest standards of security and privacy protection for users. All apps in the AppGallery are tested and verified by Huawei before they can be released on the platform.

 

 

 

The platform features apps created by 1.3 million developers who are registered with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), and the AppGallery is among the top three app stores worldwide. The number of apps AppGallery continues to expand, with 18 categories of apps available, including news, social media, entertainment and more.

 

 

 

This week’s top 5 apps focus on applications to mark the Holy month of Ramadan. The apps are:

 

 

 

My Prayer

 

This app calculates the prayer time at the phone’s location based on different conventions. The app includes a widget to show the day’s prayer times, notification tones and reminders, and a compass to show the Qibla direction.

 

 

 

Hijri Calendar – Taqwemee

 

Taqweemee is an accurate Islamic calendar based on Umm al-Qura calculations. The app includes widgets to show the full Hijri month and to show today’s date in Hijri and Gregorian, and the ability to sync with multiple calendars.

 

 

 

المصلي الآذان والقبلة والصامت

 

This app gives accurate prayer times by country and city, for 250,000 global cities. The app also includes function to find the nearest mosque, and a Qibla direction pointer.

 

 

 

Ayat Al Quran

 

A KSU-Electronic Mosshaf project, which features  scanned soft copy of real printed Mosshaf, Al Quran recitations by famous reciters, translations of Quran meanings into 20 languages and many other functions to support study of the Quran.

 

 

 

Ayah: Quran App

 

Ayah is a full-featured Quran app that is beautiful and easy to use. The app features many useful functions including gapless verse by verse recitation by select reciters, search and sharing.
