Hyundai Motor Company has today unveiled an attractive promotion package for potential buyers to mark the launch of its Palisade model in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Now available at Hyundai’s distributors’ showrooms in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, the eight-seater mid-size SUV model has been upgraded with new features and advanced technologies, offering smoother and more comfortable journeys than before.
The premium finishing to both the exterior and interior also makes the all-new Palisade have a distinctive and bolder road presence.
Customers can select an exclusive value-for-money promotion package when purchasing the latest Palisade from Hyundai’s distributors in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.
This includes a zero per cent down payment, no administrative charges, and a free 5-years/100,000km servicing package with all check-ups overseen by Hyundai’s highly skilled engineers.
Bang Sun Jeong, Vice President, Head of Middle East & Africa Operation at Hyundai said: “We are delighted to launch our all-new Palisade model in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in what has become an important market for us in the region.
“At Hyundai, we always highly value our customers, who have always been our focus when producing high-quality vehicles. This is why we are introducing a new promotion package for the new Palisade model that will make purchasing easier and affordable while also giving customers the ultimate peace of mind.”
The latest Palisade represents a step forward for one of Hyundai’s most popular SUVs. With exceptional second and third-row roominess, generous cargo area and flexible seating, the Palisade is also installed with Hyundai’s HTRAC® multi-mode all-wheel-drive system, bringing new levels of all-road, all-weather capability, technology, safety, spaciousness and efficiency.
The luxurious design is replicated inside the car with the interior, combining a sense of relaxation and comfort. Able to accommodate up to eight passengers, the Palisade comes with a One-Touch second-row seat, allowing for one-touch operation of the seat in front. This can be adjusted so there’s easy access into and out of the third-row seat. For more convenience, the third row also offers power-folding/unfolding and reclining seats.
The Palisade comes with a standard 10.25inch widescreen audio and navigation display and a 12.3inch fully digital TFT centre instrument cluster.
In addition, two Bluetooth devices can also be connected while the infotainment systems are integrated with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™. A wireless charging pad is also available for compatible devices.
With the passengers’ safety the utmost priority for Hyundai, the Palisade offers several advanced safety technologies as standard features. This includes the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which is packaged as part of Hyundai SmartSense.
Among the features that are available with SmartSense include: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane-Following Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist and Safe Exit Assist.
The Rear Occupant Alert, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning and Smart Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go features are also included.
The car’s advanced technologies will also alert the driver in hazardous situations and act autonomously to help avoid any danger on the roads.
Palisade’s very rigid structure also enhances occupant protection. Robust underbody and side structures are designed to increase energy absorption and cabin intrusion in the event of any severe collision. Providing additional safety are six standard airbags: dual front, dual side and roll-over-sensing side curtain airbags.
To help create unparalleled driving experiences, the new Palisade comes in a choice of two engines.
The Atkinson-cycle 3.8-litre petrol V6, dual CVVT, direct-injected engine is the most powerful, delivering 295 PS at 6,000 RPM and 36.2 kg·m of torque at 5,200 RPM. It also comes with a 3.5-litre MPI petrol V6 engine, which can achieve 277 PS at 6,300 RPM and 34.3 kg·m of torque at 5,000 RPM.
The new model delivers power to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with a multi-plate torque converter, offering both two-wheel drive and HTRAC® four-wheel-drive configurations.
As part of the Hyundai’s HTRAC® All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system, drivers can select from Sport, Comfort, Eco or Smart mode. Drivers can also choose different modes for specific driving conditions such as ‘Mud’, ‘Sand’ and ‘Snow’.
The Palisade comes in a choice of eight exterior colours including Timeless Black, White Cream, Lagoon Silver, Steel Graphite, Sierra Burgundy, Taiga Brown, Moonlight Cloud and Rain Forest.
