Visa, a global payments technology and a strategic partner of Dubai Shopping Festival 2017, brings its highly successful “Visa Impossible Deals” initiative running from 26 December 2016 to 28 January, 2017. A successful run of the campaign was held during the previous shopping fest and comes back bigger and bolder this time.
The programme allows for seemingly impossible deals with reputable brands made possible for Visa cardholders. This year Visa brings impossible deals i.e. over 80% off everything from mobile phones and watches to jewellery, gold and even cars.
To keep the excitement high, customers can also get a full cinema experience for themselves and their family or friends, when just buying one cinema ticket. Visa has rolled out special flight fares to Dubai and discount on hotel stays, and also partnered with other leading retailers in Dubai to offer exclusive discounts when shopping and paying with Visa.
Customers can take advantage of the impossible deals by signing up at www.visamiddleeast.com/dsf. Registered Visa cardholders will receive daily notification on email or SMS from the 26th of December and have the opportunity to take advantage of the deals on a first-come, first served basis. Customers are encouraged to act fast upon receiving the offers so not to miss out on the very limited edition impossible deals.
Karim Beg, Head of Marketing, Visa MENA said: “Visa stages a strong comeback for our Impossible Deals campaign exclusively available for our loyal cardholders, offers that would not have been ordinarily possible. With over 20 years of partnership with Dubai Shopping Festival, Visa helps in the vision of bringing Dubai to the forefront of international shopping through attractive offers. To this end, we leveraged our relationship with DSF and outstanding brands to create an exciting initiative that ultimately rewards our customers who are paying with credit or debit cards over cash. Ultimately, the festival is an integral part of our efforts to promote cross border shopping and tourism in the Middle East.”
“Through our Impossible Deals, we hope to encourage more people to opt for cashless transactions for convenience and the security reassurance of using electronic payments,” added Beg.
The partnership between Visa and DSF has seen increase in spending via cards, by both residents and tourists. DSF continues to provide an opportunity for Visa to work with over 100 banks across Central Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific regions, to offer special promotions and rewards.
