Jordanian industrial companies specialized in food industry are taking part in the Summer Fancy Food Show that kicks off in New York.
President of Jordan Exporters Association (JEA) Omar Abu Wishah said that Jordan's participation in the three-day event comes within plans and programs of the JEA to empower and support the food industry to enter new markets, adding that the participation is one of the most important means to promote national products. Jordan signed with the United States of America a free trade agreement in 2000 to strengthen ties of friendship and economic, trade and investment cooperation. National exports to the United States increased by 10.4 percent last year to reach JD1.22 billion, compared to JD1.11 billion in 2017.
