Jordan won two gold and one bronze medals during the Paralympics' participation in the Tunis International Open Athletics Championship (Grand Prix), according to the Jordanian Olympic Committee. Ahmed Hendi won the gold medal in the discus race with 37.10 meters in the 34th category, while Ayman Jabour won the bronze medal in the 36th Disc Races, 29.4 meters. Head of Mission-Elect Ibrahim Al-Halayel said the tournament was important as one of the "most important qualifying stations for the World Championships to be held in Dubai in September and the Tokyo Paralympic 2020.
