Justice Ministry launches app to expedite labor cases in Saudi Arabia

The Justice Ministry has launched yet another electronic service to expedite labor court procedures and speed up recovery of dues in such cases.

The first version of the app “Labor calculator” aims to promote legal awareness, facilitate the implementation of labor laws and ensure transparency and accuracy in financial settlements.

“The calculator is comprehensive and user-friendly and (it) includes all sections on single page and allows users to print out results,” the ministry said.

The services that the app offers include overdue wages, end-of-service benefits, leave salary, overtime, and compensation for arbitrary termination.

It is part of the ministry’s efforts to ensure full digital transformation of all its operations to benefit citizens and expatriates.
