Justice Ministry: Saudi Arabia sees 48,300 mortgaged properties in 1444H

Saudi Ministry of Justice indicated that the number of the mortgaged properties reached nearly 48,320, or 140 new additions per day, during the last Hijri year, El Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

Riyadh Justice Department accounted for the largest share of the mortgaged properties at nearly 56.4%, or about 27,200 mortgaged properties, followed by Makkah (5,790) and Eastern Province (4,696).
