With the aim of playing an active role in cultural and entertainment events around the country, as well as supporting Qatar’s tourism diversification strategy, KidzMondo Doha is participating in the 7th annual Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), currently being held at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park on Doha’s Corniche, Katara and The Pearl-Qatar.
In harmony with the growing scope and variety of offerings at this year’s QIFF, KidzMondo Doha will have dancers playing part in the festival’s stage shows throughout its seven days. The show begins with the brand’s introductory video followed by the dancers performing a routine to the tune of KidzMondo’s official theme song.
KidzMondo’s mascots will also partake in QIFF’s Live Cooking Theatre with celebrity Chef Capra on the 24th of March, where they will be preparing a healthy dish. The chef’s hat will be co-branded with the Qatar Airways and KidzMondo Doha logos for children to wear during the activity. Every day during the festival, kids will also have fun meeting one of KidzMondo’s characters.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Nabil R. Barakat, the General Manager of KidzMondo Doha, said:
“We, at KidzMondo Doha, are excited to be a part of this year’s QIFF. The festival is the perfect occasion for us to showcase our booming edutainment brand to kids and parents in Qatar, amid a festive atmosphere full of flavors, entertainment, competitions, and activities for the whole family. It is also a great opportunity for children to meet KidzMondo’s characters for the first time, while learning culinary skills from renowned Arab and international chefs. We are thrilled to be interacting with the festival’s young visitors, while adding delight to their already wonderful experience.”
Organized by Qatar Tourism Authority, in association with Qatar Airways, QIFF blends together international food culture, entertainment and tourism for Qatar’s citizens, residents and visitors. In its seventh edition, the signature annual event is featuring, for the first time, a satellite experience at The Pearl-Qatar and Katara Cultural Village, in addition to the festival’s original venue at the (MIA) Park. Food trucks from Qatar and the region are adding an urban flavor to this year’s edition, while the festival’s ‘Snack Court’ features popular eateries, cafes and restaurants for the first time.
KidzMondo Doha, Qatar’s one-of-a-kind miniature city, is an international edutainment concept designed to provide a complete solution for children in a unique indoor theme park. The kid-sized city, with its own economy, currency (the Kidlar), public services, and establishments, has been conceived to deliver a holistic experience that unlocks imagination and creativity in children, while empowering them with knowledge, essential skills and life-lessons that help them become well-versed individuals and prepare them for the professional world of adults, in an interactive and entertaining way.
