KIKO CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF BEAUTY WITH UNIQUE PARTNERSHIPS

 

KIKO MILANO, Italy's leading cosmetics brand, celebrates 20 years of beauty - an important milestone for this incredible brand founded by Stefano and Antonio Percassi.

 

The first store was opened on September 1, 1997, within a historical Fiorucci store. The first KIKO flagship stores were designed by the architects Francesco and Alessandro Mendini. In these 20 years, KIKO has conquered the most discerning beauty addicts worldwide with its endless array of shades and textures, satisfying every professional and personal make-up need. KIKO is synonymous with colour, fun, innovation and experimentation.

Today, KIKO has over 1000 stores in 20 countries, a third of which are located in Italy. The brand has a widespread presence in Europe, as well as  Turkey, the Middle East, the United States, Hong Kong, India and Brazil).

KIKO also has an online presence in 36 countries through the web-based platform   www.kikocosmetics.com.

Epitomizing Italian modernity, KIKO is synonymous with art, fashion and design, offering over 1400 products, including make-up, skincare and beauty accessories, as well as over 1000 new products offered in limited edition collections every year.

Designed first by the architect Massimo Losaghini, and then by the Japanese world famous architect, Kengo Kuma, the KIKO stores have always been dynamic, fun, innovative and in constant evolution. Today, it is also sustainable, technological and tied to the world of social communities.

For its 20th anniversary, KIKO has chosen to partner with seven international brands linked with emerging designers who will celebrate the very essence of KIKO and its most important values: colour, creativity, talent and an all-Italian style.

The selected designers will design seven limited edition capsule collections, the first being launched in March and the last in November 2017. Below is a breakdown of the collections together with the relating designers and launch dates:

Like any significant milestone, the celebrations wouldn't be complete without a special jewel to mark the occasion: a bracelet that can be embellished with seven different charms, each relating to one of the capsule collections. The charms can be collected, and the bracelet customized by purchasing products from the relating limited edition collections.

 

 

 

 

As a further initiative to support art, fashion and new talent, KIKO will be sponsoring a number of emerging designers for the 2017 Fall/Winter Fashion Weeks in London, Milan and Paris.
