King orders SR1,691m in assistance to social security beneficiaries

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued an order for paying SR1,691 million in assistance to beneficiaries included in the social security system.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Mufarrej Al-Haqabani, Minister of Labor and Social Development, thanked the King for this humanitarian gesture.

King Salman arrived Friday night in Makkah to spend the last 10 days of the blessed Ramadan next to the Grand Mosque.

In a speech in Madinah before leaving for Makkah, the King stressed the importance of stability and security which Saudi Arabia has been endowed with.

The King inaugurated a number of projects in the Prophet’s City estimated to be worth over SR4 billion. These include projects encompassing sectors such as health, education, culture, electricity, water and other utilities.
