Kingdom will reach greater heights: Makkah governor

Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal said that the Kingdom is exposed to unjustifiable criticism from some quarters because of its enviable position and unparalleled success in
all fields.

“Despite such criticism, the Kingdom will forge ahead to reach greater heights in all areas of developments,” the prince told reporters following his visit to the Haj Terminal in Jeddah.
On arrival at the airport, the Makkah governor was received by Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed, where the two met with arriving pilgrims and distributed souvenirs among them.
Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, who is the adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and chairman of the Central Haj Committee, commended the level of services offered to the guests of Allah, adding that he would personally convey the untiring efforts made by all officials to King Salman in recognition of their dedicated services toward the cause of Islam.
The current trend is toward e-government in all sectors to facilitate the work and procedures at all facilities, he said. “We are at the beginning of the path and we expect to develop work from one Haj season to another, moving from good to be better.”
Prince Khalid chaired the meeting of the Central Haj Committee and reviewed the progress made by the committee in all its activities during this season.
Assistant Chief of the General Authority for Civil Aviation Tariq Jabbar briefed the governor on the operations that are being carried out daily to welcome the arriving passengers and how they are being sent to their destinations in the holy cities.
