Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received here Sunday at Bayan Palace Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, and his accompanying delegation.
They discussed means of further enhancing ties in all fields.
The latest developments on the regional and international arenas were also discussed.
The Emir of Kuwait held a dinner banquet in honor of the Crown Prince.
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, arrived in Kuwait on Sunday evening on an official visit.
At the Kuwait International Airport, he was received by Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Kuwait Parliament Speaker Al Marzouq Al-Ghanem and other senior officials.
The Crown Prince’s entourage includes Prince Turki Bin Muhammad Bin Fahd, advisor at the Royal Court, Minister of Interior Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, Al-Jouf Governor Prince Badr Bin Sultan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Faleh, Minister of Media Awwad Al-Awwad, Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah, and Minister of Commerce and Investment Majed Al-Qasabi.
Earlier, the Crown Prince left Khamees Mushayt for Kuwait.
The visit is in response to an invitation from Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
At the King Khalid Air Base airport, the Crown Prince was seen off by Prince Faisal Bin Khalid, emir of Asir, Prince Turki Bin Talal, deputy emir of Asir, Gen. Fayad Al-Ruwaili, chief of the general staff, and other military commanders and senior officials.
The visit is in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
