Latest models of Dongfeng unveiled at Jeddah Motor Show Altawkilat joins hands with giant Chinese automaker

Altawkilat (Universal Motor Agencies) has officially announced a new partnership with Dongfeng Motor Corporation, one of the largest Chinese automobile manufacturers, whereby Altawkilat becomes the official distributer of the Chinese Dongfeng brand in Saudi Arabia. The Dongfeng brand was launched during Jeddah International Motor Show 2021.  

Speaking on this occasion, the chairman of Altawkilat - Engineer Mohammed Abduljawad said “We are pleased to enter into partnership with Dongfeng Motor Corporation, the giant Chinese automobile manufacture, which has partnership with many international automakers, enabling it to be one of the most important automakers in the Saudi market”.

Alwawkilat’s strategic partnership with Dongfeng reflects the confidence in the future of automobile business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the show, Altawkilat unveiled the multi-purpose passenger car AX7, modern sedan car A30, and the commercial vehicles C31, C32 and C35, as well as the light-duty trucks C72 and E32 with payload of 4 tons and 3 tons respectively. This helps enhance the Saudi market’s need for commercial vehicles.    

Dongfeng Motor Corporation is a Chinese state-owned automaker founded in 1969 and headquartered in Wuhan, China. It is one of the “four big” Chinese automakers in terms of output.
