LENOVO CELEBRATES CHANNEL SUCCESS IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

Building on its 100% channel-led approach, Lenovo celebrated its annual channel awards in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony was held to celebrate the success of Lenovo’s channel partners in supporting and delivering on key digital transformation projects in the Kingdom across both its intelligent device (IDG) group and infrastructure solutions divisions (ISG).

22 award winners were named in acknowledgement of the achievements demonstrated by Lenovo’s network of distributors, partners, and resellers as well as individual awards.

Speaking at the awards Marwan Bsat, General Manager, Lenovo Saudi Arabia said “The channel plays a pivotal role in our route to market. We are a 100% channel focused organisation and the channel is our only route to market. Over the past two years, we have seen a huge demand in both technology and infrastructure solutions, all of which we cannot have delivered without the support of our channel community. These awards are a recognition to our partners, who continue to demonstrate hard work, determination and excellence, even during uncertain times”.

To better promote engagement and foster collaboration between channel partners and sales teams, Lenovo is committed to equipping its channel with the latest programs and tools to help them in their go-to market strategy. For example, Lenovo Partner Hub - a centralized online hub providing access to resources, training materials and marketing collateral that can be customized to meet varying requirements.

With the support of the channel, Lenovo’s offerings and capabilities in the Kingdom and wider region have continued to grow at unprecedented rates, with IDC’s latest figures for Saudi Arabia showing that Lenovo has achieved the highest consumer market share coming in at 19.8% and the highest commercial market share standing at 34.9%. In the last quarter.
