Lucky Danube Supermarket customer wins new car in Jeddah competition

Danube supermarket and hypermarket chain in Saudi Arabia announced the winners of its "Win with Cosmo" competition open to all Danube store and Danube Online/App customers after a draw held at Danube Madinah Road branch in Jeddah. Danube partnered with ‘Cosmo’, a well-known hair, skin & body care brand available at all Danube branches to organize and sponsor the competition with a range of prizes up for grabs including a Mercedes A-class car as the grand prize, and several runners-up prizes including Danube vouchers ranging from SAR 500 to SAR 1000.

Competition entry requirements were simple; download the Danube Online grocery shopping application, go to the competitions section on the application’s home page and choose to enter the competition by requesting a free coupon.

The grand prize was won by Danube customer, Jayaraman Balakishnan, a Jeddah resident, who expressed his delight with winning the top prize; "It is a great joy for me and my family to win such an incredible prize, as a family we love shopping at Danube and we are very loyal to the brand. We are thrilled to win such a fabulous car. I would like to thank the management of Danube supermarkets for such a brilliant competition and how it was run.”

The names of the winners were announced on Danube’s social media handles and the winners were invited to take part in an official prize ceremony at BinDawood Holding Building, which owns and operates the Danube grocery retail chain.
