Ma’arif for Education and Training offers school fee waiver initiative and is fully set for the new academic year

Ready to welcome students for e-learning in the new academic year, Ma’arif for Education and Training, one of the largest private school owners and operators in Saudi Arabia, announced today a tuition fee waiver initiative ranging from 10%-100% for students in Manarat Schools, Al Faisalia Islamic Schools, Green Hills International Schools and Nour Al Islam Schools
The tuition fee waiver initiative will not only support parents in managing the challenges incurred by the COVID-19 pandemic but also marks an appreciation by Ma’arif for Education and Training for the committed efforts of parents in supporting the students in e-learning.
The announcement follows the recent statement by the Ministry of Education that learning will commence online for the first seven weeks for the 2020/2021 academic year. The group also underlined its total readiness, in terms of digital infrastructure and trained teaching staff, to deliver seamless e-learning for students.
Building on a successful online learning experience, which was reflected in a record 93% parents’ satisfaction rate, Ma’arif continues to strive for excellence in its education provision. Our online platform MLG (Ma’arif Learning Gateway) has been integrated with Office 365 including Microsoft Teams to secure live streaming sessions. Several remote educational services have been added and the library has been uploaded with all the resources needed for asynchronous access. In addition, several technical support channels (MLG tickets, E-Mail, WhatsApp groups, and phone call) are also available to support students during the E-learning sessions. To ensure parents and students are ready for the new academic term, detailed online orientation sessions to discuss the plans, timetables and routines of the online learning program have been scheduled.

Our E-learning schedule is carefully planned to include synchronous and asynchronous learning. Asynchronous lessons are planned to complement our offerings and allow students to apply their learning in an independent manner”.
Ma’arif for Education and Training has designed a carefully prepared plan that blends online and off-line lessons taking into consideration the screen-time students are exposed to during online learning. Special additional lessons have been scheduled to prepare students for external national and international examinations (Qudrat, Tahsili, CAIE and SAT) too.
Ma’arif for Education and Training e-learning platforms have been developed through a collaborative effort between education staff and IT teams at the individual schools. They focus on providing students with a vibrant and engaging environment in which to learn and complete their education program. The initiative features live sessions, video lessons, interactive activities, quizzes and assignments delivered via a safe and age-appropriate online platform.
In addition to the fee waiver initiative, Ma’arif also offers free scholarships to talented students with international and local achievements under the “Mawhiba” program.
