Majid Al Futtaim’s Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, and City Centre Deira will share in the spirit of togetherness this 89th Saudi National Day with a rich program of celebration from September 20 to 23.
“As the people of Saudi Arabia mark the arrival of Saudi National Day, Majid Al Futtaim extends a warm invitation to KSA nationals to celebrate with us at our malls,” commented Hussain Moosa, Director for Mall of the Emirates at Majid Al Futtaim – Properties “As is fitting of such a significant moment in the nation’s history, we’ve been sure to reflect the spirit of togetherness that Saudi National Day embodies with festivities that include traditional Arabic entertainment, generous gifts, and unmissable offers – exclusively for our Saudi guests.”
At Mall of the Emirates, KSA nationals will be welcomed to the customer service desk with a voucher booklet containing a superb collection of offers and special promotions across an array of participating retailers. Additionally, across September 22 and September 23, guests can immerse themselves in tradition as performers dressed in the Saudi national outfit perform an Ayallah dance to a soundtrack of Arabic music. To truly embody the spirit of the union, staff at the mall will also be handing out scarves, flags, and coffee and dates to customers as a symbol of the unity between KSA and the UAE.
Visitors to Mall of the Emirates can take the celebrations even further by capitalizing on the incredible Saudi National Day offer from Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. When booking directly with the hotel, guests get 15 percent off the best available room rate, two Snow Park tickets for Ski Dubai, a daily breakfast buffet in the Olea restaurant, and 20 percent off at all hotel restaurants.
Meanwhile, City Centre Mirdif will join in the festivities through Saudi anthems and celebratory visuals all around. The mall will also host its own program of Ayallah performances on September 22 and September 23 in honour of National Day.
For an added touch of convenience, guests of Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif can capitalize on each mall’s hands-free service. The service allows shoppers to leave their purchases at the hands-free collection desk and continue browsing free of bags, before having their items dropped off free of charge anywhere inside the mall, at the shopper’s car, or at connected hotels. Guests can even arrange for their shopping bags to be delivered to their home address for an additional fee.
City Centre Deira will mark the occasion by surprising customers inside the mall with free giveaways of oud perfume, retailer vouchers, and complimentary coffee, while also putting on a show by hosting Ayallah dancers. The malls’ National Day activities will run across September 22 and 23, but the gifting will continue with Pullman and Aloft hotels, which will offer all Saudi tourists exclusive vouchers to enjoy on this special occasion, until September 28.
