Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued a royal order, joining the Crown Prince’s Court with the Royal Court, according to the SPA. It said the order was made after a proposal made by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, who is also deputy prime minister and interior minister, to merge the courts in a “single body.” The king also ordered the “formation of a committee under the chairmanship of the chief of the Royal Court to complete the necessary procedures and submit recommendations in a maximum period of three months,” the SPA said. The move is likely to further streamline administration.
