In celebration of the UAE Flag Day, the Ministry of Health and Prevention, organized today a ceremony which saw its offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and hospitals, health centers and medical facilities throughout the country simultaneously raising the UAE flag with the national anthem playing in the background.
The ceremony was held in response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to all institutions, ministries, bodies and schools celebrate the Flag Day on November 3, an event that coincides with the anniversary of President Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s assumption of office.
In addition to showing how much the UAE people respect and sanctify their flag being a symbol of state sovereignty and unity, and belonging to it, the Flag Day celebrations across the country, highlight the solidarity and cohesion of the UAE people and their loyalty to their leadership.
It does also demonstrate their keenness to promote the priceless value of the union established by the founding fathers. It is also in appreciation of the sustainable development course being led by the President of the UAE and the rulers of the Emirates with great ability and wisdom to preserve the state's gains in global fields.
