Ministry of Justice starts 15 e-services for enforcement

Justice Minister Waleed Al-Sama’ani has launched 15 enforcement-related e-services sparing clients the need to visit enforcement courts. The e-services are directed to applicants, enforcement debtors, and enforcement agents.

“The enforcement sector has seen several development programs aimed at providing innovative tech solutions and enhancing digital capacities. The goal is to make things easier for clients in line with the ministry’s systematic digitization efforts,” said the Ministry of Justice.

“The new services streamline and automate applications related to enforcement notices, attachment and sanctions, enforcement notice invoices, visits and child custody, SADAD invoices, and unfreezing of public services,” the ministry added.

The new services can be accessed through the Najiz justice portal at najiz.moj.gov.sa.

Meanwhile, Al-Sama’ani headed the first meeting of the Support and Liquidation Center in Riyadh, in the presence of all board members. The meeting explored the potential role the center will play in boosting performance of the legal sector. The formation of the center had earlier been approved by the Council of Ministers.

The board explored the center’s objectives and responsibilities, as well as ways to involve the private sector in identifying the center’s operational opportunities. In addition, the members discussed the development of a strategy based on best practices, performance indicators, governance systems, and organizational structure and policies.

“The center has a significant judicial and economic value,” said Al-Sama’ani. “It supports the judiciary through supervision of technical liquidation issues, such as inventory, evaluation, supervision, auditing, and sales.”

“The center also contributes to business development by engaging the private sector, helping create business and employment opportunities,” he added.

The Support and Liquidation Center is one of the NTP 2020 initiatives aimed at achieving excellence in government performance and promoting efficiency of justice services.
