Misk Art Institute, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” has launched an open call for the third edition of the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Hall Exhibition: Summer 2025, scheduled from July 27 to September 25, 2025. Through its thematic focus, The Intergenerational Lens of Social Change, the exhibition aims to foreground the role of arts in the societal shifts across generations. Artists will have an opportunity to represent Saudi values through a modern-day perspective, embodying how creativity evolves over time.
The 2025 edition features Saudi and resident artists of all levels of experience and across a wide range of practices. The diverse works will include painting, figurative or abstract representations, photography, multimedia works, and installation. Each artwork provides insights into generational histories, embodying cultural and societal shifts that shape the art scene, and capturing the diversity and ever-evolving vibrancy of Saudi Arabia’s creative landscape.
Basma Alshathry, Director of the Curatorial Department and Chief Curator at Misk Art Institute, stated: “We are delighted to be preparing for the third iteration of the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Hall Exhibition: Summer 2025. Misk Art Institute is committed to empowering Saudi artists, providing them with a space where they can reinterpret the present and shape the future through creative perspectives that capture their identity and culture.
