Etihad Etisalat “Mobily” participated in a specialized workshop in reviewing the most important investment opportunities in the field of CIT. The workshop was organized by the “Communications Commission” in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Eastern Province and attended by a number of specialists in the field of CIT, and was held in the headquarters of the chamber of commerce in Dammam.

Mr. Jihad Alammar, Investment Senior Specialist Manager, represented Mobily in this workshop, focused on the investment opportunities in the CIT field and talked about Mobily’s experience in this area through defining the conception of the bold venture capital and its objectives.

Mr. Alammar added in his word about investing in emerging companies and how large companies can take advantage of the creativity that stems from such companies and in its turn added to the big company’s credit, as one of its creative complementary efforts.

Alammar continued in defining the different types of investors who are needed to foster emerging projects to enable them to proceed and progress. These investors could be friends, family, individual investors or venture capital and funds.

At the end of his speech, Mr. Alammar gave some tips for entrepreneurs, such as how to choose a great opportunity and promising markets and concern for achieving an income at the earliest opportunity. He also stressed the importance of communication with a number of investors at the same time, so that the entrepreneur does not spend several months in talking with his project investor who may refuse it at the last moment and thus wasting a lot of time.
