Mobily is working on implementing the best plans that covers all aspects of operations as a result of its proven experience in past years. Mobily is keen to be present in all Hajj places through its main branches or point of sales within the holy places, land and sea and air passage points, and places of Ihram (Mawaqeet) to reach more than 430 point of sales that provide many special offers allowing pilgrims to communicate with their families with competitive prices.
Moreover, the company dedicated 1,500 Saudi employees to serve the pilgrims and work on providing all services to them. Mobily also has increased the data capacity by 50 percent through the fourth generation technology (FDD) in the holy places to improve data services. Moreover; unified emergency center (911) in Makkah has been linked, which will allow rapid response to notifications via voice call or SMS, and enables the center to identify the caller location. In addition, Mobily provided more than 1,340 Wi-Fi access points with a capacity of 2080 MB per second in Mena, Arafat and Muzdalifa.
Additionally, Mobily set up more than 1000 fixed and mobile communication towers in Makkah and the holy places. It also provides 4 major switches serving the Western region, including the holy places. In addition, more than 175 kilometers of FTTH were implemented in the city of Makkah and the holy places that linked with the major switches and other Kingdom’s cities through 4 tracks to provide maximum protection.
