Musafir.com teams up with Vienna Tourism Board to strengthen foothold in international holiday travel
Musafir.com, the UAE's first premium-experience travel website, and the Vienna Tourism Board, have today announced a joint campaign to promote Vienna as a key cultural destination for leisure travellers.
The partnership, which will seek to build cultural awareness and boost tourism to Vienna, was officially launched this week. An integrated online campaign has been planned to reach a wider demographic audience. The campaign will highlight the wide range of cultural, artistic, and leisure options available for visitors to Vienna.
“We are very proud to be associated with Vienna Tourism Board,” said Sachin Gadoya, Managing Director of Musafir.com. “Having personally visited Vienna, I think it is a great place to explore. The city’s abundant museums and artistic avenues make it an ideal destination for art and food aficionados and culture enthusiasts.’’
"We have been advertising Vienna on the Arabian market for some time now, but this is our first partnership with a local online travel agency on a large scale. Working with musafir.com will help us showing Arabian travelers that Vienna offers everything for a perfect holiday, all wrapped up in an attractive package deal." said Julia Jakoubek, team manager of digital marketing at Vienna Tourist Board.
In line with the Musafir’s growth initiatives, the association with Vienna Tourism Board will aim at broadening their reach across diverse ethnic groups and develop interest in newer destinations.
This association is in line with their Middle East growth plans and product upgrades due by the end of this year. Musafir.com also aims to play a vital role in acquiring customers through its mobile travel app which was launched earlier this year and aspires to have 100,000 active users by the end of 2015.
