As car enthusiasts welcome the 30th edition of the Riyadh Motor Show, Nissan re-affirms its strong presence in the KSA market with a distinguished display of its full line-up of technology embracing vehicles. The Motor Show which takes place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, runs for four days from November 29 until December 2, 2016.
Nissan’s stand features the full line-up - an exciting range of vehicles that appeal to various tastes and requirements, offer cutting-edge design, performance, innovation and reliability. In addition to the Nissan GT-R NISMO MY17, which was announced for the first time regionally in Jeddah earlier this October, the Nissan Patrol NISMO is also taking center stage. The complete range includes the Nissan 370Z, Sunny, Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Patrol Pickup, X-Trail, Pathfinder, Patrol V6, Patrol V8, Patrol Safari, GT-R NISMO, and the all-new redesigned and reengineered Pick-up Navara.
“This year has been special to us, as we have launched a number of exciting new models which included the Nissan Patrol NISMO, Patrol V6, Altima, and the all-new Pick-up Navara that all came strongly to emphasize the Nissan promise of quality and innovation” said Nissan Saudi Arabia’s Managing Director, Simon Frith. “Saudi Arabia is a key market for us in the region, and as such we continuously make sure to be present at major events similar to the Riyadh Motor Show, which was launched almost 30 years ago”.
Nissan’s presence at the motor show is not limited to a display of the full range of models available, but also includes attendance by Adel Hussein Abdulla, who was also Nissan’s champion at Jeddah Rally, and competed at the FIA World Championship.
Adel’s Nissan Patrol; the hero of all terrains, on display at the motor show, continued to prove its grounds by dominating this year’s Jeddah Rally. The rally witnessed drivers in Nissan cars dominating the list of participants with 21 out of total 36, and the list of winners at the tournament in various categories; with Nissan Patrol taking the first and third spots in the T1-category, and all top three spots in the T2-category.
“Nissan continuously aims to go from strength to strength, and we make sure to reflect this in all our efforts in Saudi Arabia, Middle East region and around the world” continued Simon. “Today, our success in the Kingdom and continued efforts to always lead, are a result of our strong partnerships with our local distributors Alissa and Petromin, with whom we continuously aim to assure we meet the highest standards of customer relations and after sales services”.
In addition to highlighting key models, the Nissan stand at the Riyadh Motor show this year, offered attendees an exciting virtual experience, that gave them the chance to #be_the_hero and set a record on the GT-R through a social media driven video engagement activity
