Nokia Corporation and Special Integrated Logistics Zone Company (SILZ) Sign a Collaboration Agreement to Explore Establishment of Regional Logistics Hub at Riyadh Integrated

Nokia has signed a collaboration agreement with Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ) Company to explore establishing a regional logistics hub and repair center at Riyadh Integrated.

The agreement outlines a framework for strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing Nokia’s logistics and repair capabilities across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role as a global logistics and technology hub.

Under the collaboration agreement, Nokia will conduct feasibility studies, obtain necessary regulatory approvals, and define the technical and operational requirements for the proposed logistics hub. Nokia will also work closely with SILZ to ensure compliance with local regulations, assess infrastructure needs, and conduct relevant evaluations in conjunction with SILZ and authorities.

SILZ will support Nokia throughout all project phases by providing guidance on establishing and operating the logistics hub at Riyadh Integrated. This includes assistance with licenses and approvals, infrastructure and development options, as well as customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and government coordination.

Dr. Fadi bin Saleh Al-Buhairan, Chief Executive Officer of SILZ, stated:

"This partnership with Nokia underscores SILZ's commitment to attracting leading global companies and fostering a dynamic ecosystem for international trade and logistics. Nokia’s plan to establish a regional logistics hub at Riyadh Integrated is a testament to SILZ's strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and dedication to providing a world-class business environment. We are confident that this collaboration will not only benefit Nokia’s operations but also contribute significantly to the growth of Saudi Arabia's logistics sector and its position as a global logistics hub."

To advance the project, both parties will establish a joint working group to define the next steps and negotiations.
