The National Water Company (NWC) has dedicated a web page on its official website as a guide. It includes frequently asked questions “FAQs” of its customers about verifying the information of water service meters. This is done under the initiative to verify meters and link them to the national and resident identity “Saudi ID and resident ID”, thereby achieving full benefits of water services and increasing the level of reliability of the meters.
NWC said, "Our page on our official website included methods of verifying meters information, explanation of what it means to validate them, why they should be verified, and where to verify my meter, in addition to a step-by-step explanation included in the guides for the water meter information verification service through its official channels.
The company noted that its official channels receive customer requests for meter information verification round the clock. Also, it welcomes to communicate with customers to help them or provide any service to them through the unified call centers 800 441 1110. This comes under the slogan Addadi i.e. “My Meter”, which was launched by the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority (SERA) and the Saudi Water Authority (SWA) on October 15, 2024. The aim is to develop the services provided to beneficiaries including Facilitating the communication process between the beneficiary and the service provider, ensuring that maintenance notifications reach the requester, in addition to improving the mechanism of issuing bills and overcoming the reasons for not reaching the actual beneficiary.
NWC calls upon all categories of customers, whether property owners or tenants, to verify the information of the water meters in their properties in order to preserve their rights and benefit from all the services of the service provider.
