PepsiCo, the global food and beverage company, is doing good for the community in more than one way in the lead-up to Ramadan, through its Kilo for Khair campaign. In partnership with the Saudi Food Bank, the company will donate one box of essential food items through Saudi Food Bank for every healthy kilo the employees lose between March and May, with the aim of promoting kindness and health throughout Ramadan.
Every box PepsiCo donates to Saudi Food Bank will include necessities such as flour, milk, cooking oil, and tomato sauce, as well as Quaker Pasta, Oats and Soup, in addition to snacks such as Lay’s Forno and Sunbites Bread Bites.
The boxes will be distributed through Saudi Food Bank prior to the start of Ramadan, to 16 cities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In addition to encouraging its employees to follow a healthier lifestyle for a good cause, PepsiCo will encourage its team members to assist in packing and delivering the boxes to families in need.
