As part of its ongoing efforts to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan and strengthen ties between its teams, the Department of Statistics and Community Development (DSCD) in Sharjah has backed a campaign by its employees to help their colleagues perform Umrah during Ramadan.
The act underscores the great bonds and ties among the department's staff and their keenness to promote the values and principles of the Islamic faith and spread the spirit of giving and compassion in the most special of months.
DSCD highlighted the various positive effects of the initiative in terms of instilling the values of kindness and solidarity, and the benefits of a spirit of happiness, which reflect on their performance and motivates them to excel with sincerity and honesty.
As well as echoing the spiritual meanings of the holy month, the act also fosters an environment of a large family, whose members take care of each other's interests and develop even strong bonds.
