The Board of Directors of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) held its second meeting for the year 2022, chaired by His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, in the presence of His Excellency Abdulla Bin Damithan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and members of the Board, to discuss the projects, initiatives and future plans included in the meeting agenda of the Board.
The meeting’s agenda covered a number of topics, including the financial performance of the PCFC for 2021 and the first quarter of 2022, besides its strategic plan, and a study of the general perception of the risks that the PCFC may face, in addition to a number of strategic projects and initiatives that contribute to achieving the Corporation’s vision of strengthening Dubai's position as a leading and sustainable center to support the economic sector at the local and global levels.
The Board of Directors of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation is responsible for taking decisions and making recommendations that contribute to strengthening the Corporation's leading position locally, regionally and globally, reviewing periodic reports to follow up the business progress of the Corporation in line with the directions of the Dubai government, in addition to adopting and issuing relevant decisions and recommendations.
The Board of Directors holds its meetings periodically throughout the year, at an average of 4 meetings per year, in the presence of the members, with documenting its meetings and preparing minutes of discussions and deliberations for the purpose of documenting and following up on recent developments.
