Posiflex Technology, Inc. (TSE: 8114), a leading global brand in the design and manufacture of POS solutions and peripherals, will exhibit its full POS portfolio at GITEX Technology Week 2015, the largest ICT event in the Middle East region.
Occupying pride of place in Posiflex’s portfolio at GITEX will be the MT-4008A, the company’s newly unveiled cutting-edge Android mobile POS solution. The MT-4008A is designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized retail and hospitality businesses that wish to offer their customers a more personalized, interactive experience with mobile POS functionalities. This new addition to the extensive Posiflex range is available from the third quarter of 2015.
Like its award-winning Windows-based sister tablet (MT-4008W), the MT-4008A shares versatile functionality, a robust yet lightweight design for comfortable use, quick transformation into an all-in-one POS with the optional dock station, and extended operating time resulting from advanced power saving technology plus a removable battery within the pistol grip to sustain extra intensive usage.
Owen Chen, President at Posiflex Technology, Inc. says, “The MT Series represents the pinnacle of all Posiflex’s experience and know-how in POS hardware for mobile retailing and hospitality. For small and medium-sized businesses, a hybrid solution of mobile and stationary POS runs on the Android platform is the ever economical choice.”
At GITEX 2015, Posiflex will display a “Mobile” zone highlighted by the Mobile POS MT Series and the Web Printer AURA-6906W, whilst an “All-in-One” zone exhibits the compact and stylish all-in-one POS HS Series. The updates made to the fanless POS terminal XT Series and POS Box TX Series will provide various options from mid-range to high-end. The Android-based POS Series is also available to meet the growing need for non-Windows applications.
Last but not least, the concept of next engagement-oriented terminal will be on the agenda as well – with a large 21.5” LCD display and touch screen, built-in camera, and a wealth of connectivity options that allows for devices such as handset, TV tuner, fingerprint sensor, magnetic strip reader and 2D image scanner to be connected. This allows the terminal to simultaneously deliver rich infotainment content to the user and collect essential user data.
The terminal delivers a diverse, compelling interactive experience directly to end users, making it ideal for a range of applications, such as bedside terminals and medical carts in the health care industry, as well as price checkers and wall-mounted self-help kiosks in the retail and hospitality industries.
