Prince Alwaleed urged to boost Uganda investments

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office in Riyadh, Rashid Ssemuddu, Ugandan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was also attended by Hassna Alturki, executive manager for international relations to the chairman and Ahmed Altubaishi, executive assistant to the chairman. The meeting began as the Ugandan Ambassador thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet with him.

During the meeting, the prince and the ambassador discussed a number of social, economic and humanitarian issues.
In addition, the ambassador handed Prince Alwaleed a letter from Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, president of Uganda.

Ssemuddu said he hoped Prince Alwaleed will visit Uganda again and thanked the Prince on behalf of President Museveni, and the people of Uganda.
The envoy also expressed his government’s desire for the prince to invest in the country, and said that the government welcomes the Prince to invest in the hotel sector there.
The Prince had visited Uganda in 2006 and met with the Ugandan president. The President thanked Prince Alwaleed for his visit and commended him on his efforts in helping economic development in Africa, and his humanitarian contributions to Africa.
