His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, has honoured Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) last Wednesday, 12 April 2017 for winning five prestigious awards in various categories at the 11th Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence Awards.
The award ceremony, which took place in the RAK Chamber premises, was attended by a large number of senior officials and representatives of various departments and authorities of the RAK Government. The Crown Prince awarded RAK FTZ’s Human Resources and Development Department with the first prize in the “Best Government Department” category, which was received by Aysha Sulaiman, Human Resources and Development Director. RAK FTZ also won the first prize for “Best Customer Service Reprehensive” received by Hebba Al Hinawey, and first prize for “Best Call Centre Operator” received by Mohamed Noor Ahmed. The free zone also attained second places in the “Best Field Employee” category won by Mona Sulaiman, and the “Best Customer Service Centre” category.
Commenting on the recognitions, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, RAK FTZ Chairman, said: “We, at RAK FTZ, are truly honoured for being distinguished among the best government authorities in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, particularly in the customer service category, as this underscores our commitment to providing our clients with an exceptionally positive experience. This award says it all. And of course, I couldn’t be prouder of our outstanding HR Department and our employees: Hebba Al Hinawey, Mohammed Noor, Mona Sulaiman, Aysha Sulaiman and her team, as well as representatives from other supporting departments, for being models of excellence”.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed added that the awards RAK FTZ received “serve as an inspiration for everyone at the Free Zone to continue cultivating a culture of excellence”. “We aspire that the immense effort we exert in providing our clients with the quality of service at par with international standards, will continue to be acknowledged by prominent local and global award-giving bodies for the years to come,” he concluded.
