Ras Al Khaimah’s radio station was visited by Ras Al Khaimah Media Office staff today to celebrate the opening of their new offices in RAK Media City. Mohammed Ghanem Mustafa, RAK Radio’s Director-General showed Martin Norris, RAK Media Office’s Director, the new headquarters.
During the visit, Ghanem demonstrated the technological upgrades that have come with the new location, and the increased capability for the future that new studios and facilities have brought.
Norris commented that the new radio station would be better able to serve the needs of the citizens and residents of Ras Al Khaimah, and would also project the Emirate to the wider world through their digital transmissions. He added that both of these goals were in line with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, for the local community and in increasing overseas awareness of Ras Al Khaimah and what it has to offer.
