Red Sea Mall celebrates 90th Saudi National Day with a series of activities reflecting commitment to Vision 2030

To mark the Saudi National Day this year, the 90th anniversary of the unification of the kingdom by its founder King Abdulaziz Al Saud, Red Sea Mall (RSM) will organize on the 23rd of September, a series of events and activities celebrating Saudi culture, values, and traditions.

Red Sea Mall celebrates the national day every year with activities that reflect its commitment to the kingdom’s development and Vision 2030 through the promotion of the retail sector.  The mall will invite its visitors, across the local community to express their love for their country, leaders, history, and symbols on this glorious day.

This year, Red Sea Mall will be lit up with the colors of the Saudi flag and adorned with huge pictures of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense. Special lighting shows will also be organized above the indoor fountain area. All entrances to the mall will be decorated with special balloons in the colors of the Saudi flag, and banners and flags with traditional Saudi decorations will be spread across the mall. More than 30,000 flags will be distributed to shoppers and visitors.

Red Sea Mall will also have a special photo booth to allow people to take photos against a background embodying the values of the Saudi National Day. A huge banner saying, “I love Saudi Arabia”, with a big green heart and the national day slogan “Hemma Hatta Al Qimma” [Attitude towards Altitude], will be installed on the malls’ external entrance. Additionally, the mall will organize a series of mobile folklore shows in which four local groups will participate. More than 40 dancers will perform the “Ardah”, Hejaz dances, and other traditional dances from the north and the south. Visitors will also enjoy special music presented by a Saudi DJ using modern sound technologies. There will also be an opportunity for the mall visitors to share their feelings and express their thanks to the Kingdom's leadership by signing a huge wall mural of 10 meters in length thanking the leadership of the Kingdom and the sectors that contributed to the response to the Corona pandemic
