Red Sea Mall’s "Abnaa Al Khair" event, once again engages with orphans in Jeddah by distributing more than 500 gifts

With the COVID-19 pandemic, Red Sea Mall was keen on carrying for the eighth consecutive year the “Abnaa Al Khair” event during the Holy month of Ramadan. More than 500 hundred gifts were distributed to the orphans, in collaboration with the group “Ala Mazaji”.

This initiative comes within the framework of the Red Sea Mall’s corporate social responsibility to give back to the local community across all segments, especially orphans and charity associations. A team from the Red Sea Mall and groups "Ala Mazaji" headed by Mohammed Saadawi, carried out the task of delivering the gifts to the orphans and children, which were divided according to age groups while "Kiabi" store offered clothing for 400 orphans, and "Toys R Us" provided toys for children From 3 to 16 years old.

"Despite the difficult and exceptional circumstances that the whole world is going through and which impose many restrictions on us to revive and organize many initiatives during the holy month, we have been keen to ensure that Red Sea Mall will carry on the "Abnaa Al Khair" event this year too, to put a smile on the faces of orphans and add joy to their hearts, and we thank the companies and stores that contributed with us in achieving our goals. This initiative confirms our commitment and belief in social responsibility towards our society, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan. We always focused on supporting the orphans by all means, and these noble values and brotherhood conveys our cooperation, goodness and generosity that the Saudi society is characterized by, as well as our religion urge us to comprehend orphans and make sure that we always take care of them”, said Eng. Every year, “Abnaa Al Khair” initiative hosts a large number of children and virtuous families at Red Sea Mall, during the holy month of Ramadan and serve them Iftar, in addition to offering many entertainment and educational programs and distribution of gifts, as well as offering cinema shows, and games.
