REGION’S LEADING INTERNATIONAL GLASS EXHIBITION RETURNS TO DUBAI FOR SIXTH YEAR

Gulf Glass 2015, the region’s leading international glass exhibition, will return to Dubai for the sixth time from the 14 - 16 September at Dubai World Trade Centre. With construction projects worth more than $172 billion expected to be completed in 2015, the demand for glass is expected to increase significantly, meaning interest in the event this year is again expected to be high.

Gulf Glass is the only glass exhibition in the Middle East showcasing technology, materials and refractories for the container, flat and process glass products. It brings together flat and container glass manufacturers, processors, fabricators, contractors and engineers to source products from suppliers who will be exhibiting cutting-edge products from around the world.

Over the past five years the event has attracted thousands of visitors, with people coming from all over the MENA region to attend. The event also features a series of free-to-attend CPD certified workshops providing the latest industry trends, tools, applications and technologies in the glass industry.

Muhammed Kazi, Senior Project Manager, Gulf Glass 2015 said: “Construction across the region is booming and the need for new glass materials has grown immensely over the last decade. With futuristic architecture and new designs, we have seen a rise in the use of glass materials in the construction of skyscrapers across the region. The exhibition will bring together some of the biggest names in the glass industry, allowing customers to directly source materials for upcoming projects.

“This year we are also offering a number of workshops that will enable participants to learn more about the benefits of particular types of materials and machineries,” added Kazi.

A recent study by Deloitte Middle East, titled "GCC Powers of Construction 2015: Construction – the economic barometer for the region", reported that the total value of infrastructure and capital projects planned and underway in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in 2015 is valued at $172 billion - the highest on record to date.

Michael Bollom, Managing Director of Creative Resins who will be exhibiting this year, commented, “Creative Resins will be returning to Gulf Glass for the sixth time this year with the launch of new products. Our commitment to the exhibition is based on the success we have experienced from participating in past years. We have witnessed the event grow over the last few years and each year the exhibition provides us with a platform to showcase the latest technology to our existing customers and welcome new customers to our product range. We have no doubt that this year will be bigger and better than the previous show, which is why we chose to launch our products at the event.”

Gulf Glass is supported by Platinum Sponsor Hiet, gold Sponsor, Mountain Company and Silver Sponsor CMS Glass Machinery, Technology sponsor, Pro technology and Workshop theatre sponsor, Intraco.

Visit the exhibition from 14 – 16 September from 10 am onwards to 6 pm all three days. Entry to the event is free.
