Reyada Centre Celebrates Fifth Batch of Graduates from Management Development Programme

The Reyada Centre for Learning and Development, an organization under the umbrella of the Executive Office of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, has celebrated the graduation of the fifth batch of delegates from its Management Development Programme (MDP).

The annual celebration was attended by various institutions that fall under Her Highness Executive Office, and was held in collaboration with GCC Consulting Company. The 10-month programme involved 11 employees who were given the opportunity to develop their management and leadership skills. The programme is one of the most important courses run annually by Reyada Centre.

Fatima Al Shehhi, Director of the Reyada Centre, welcomed the audience and congratulated the graduates. She said: "I am extremely pleased and proud to honour these graduates from the MDP 5, which happily coincides with the celebration of the UAE's 45th National Day. It is a great symbol of the country’s philosophy of forward thinking and its investment in the communities and the people who live in them.  Education and development has proved to be key to the dynamic progress of the nation and its residents."

She added: "The programme provided in-depth knowledge and invaluable experience, enabling trainees to gain more expertise and help them build their leadership and management skills for greater success in the future."

Speaking on behalf of her fellow graduates, Aysha Al Kaabi thanked Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher for her endless support, commitment in developing employee’s skills and investment in human capital.

"There have been immensely positive implications of the programme not only on my professional life but also on my personal life,” she said.

"The programme has been instrumental in growing our leadership skills, which is not only due to the programme's content and training material but also due to the efforts made by the programme's consultants, who encouraged us to pursue our careers with such passion."

The MDP facilitator also highlighted the importance of embracing change to achieve success and a better future.

At the end of the ceremony, graduates were presented with certificates with wishes for them to achieve further excellence, success and creativity in their professional and academic lives.

Founded in 2009, the Reyada Centre was established due to Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher's eagerness to empower staff at her institutions with the skills and tools to help them serve their society in all aspect of life.

Reyada aims to strengthen the contribution of Emirati citizens through the launch and implementation of academic, professional and cultural initiatives that help advance the abilities and potential of all Her Highness Executive Office employees.
