Riyadh Cement redeems SAR 25M in tax returns withheld with ZATCA

Riyadh Cement Co. said as much as SAR 25.04 million was credited to its main account with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) for withholding prepaid tax returns, the company said in a statement to Tadawul today, Sept. 8.

The company shall use this amount to settle any upcoming tax liabilities, it added.

In July, the company received a statement of account to the company branch from ZATCA, levying withholding tax returns worth SAR 25.04 million on the former for the years 2006-2010, which it had already prepaid, data available to Argaam showed.
